Course Overview


French is spoken in many countries, once you start studying French for pleasure or for professional purposes, you will quickly acquire the competence to engage in a simple conversation in French, In addition to developing your core language skills our interactive classes and immersive approach to learning will give you the cultural understanding, versatility and confidence to get the most out of the language of your choice.

Course Content


Beginners Course (A1 & A2) Basic Speaker
The course is planned to be reach for an absolute beginner, but still if you know French already, you’ll find it an outstanding refresher exercise. Each class gives you out clearly stated objectives. Explanations are in English to start with, and then French slowly takes over.

The course covers the following areas of study:

  • As a French learner in beginning, you will learn basic French language skills
  • Learn basic grammar such as subject pronouns, definite and indefinite articles, conjugations of regular and some irregular verbs in the present tense.
  • Identify and make use of gender and number in adjectives and nouns.

 A1:
Learners can understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type. Can introduce him/her and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details.

A2:
It’s easy to understand sentences and commonly used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance. Can speak in simple and routine language requiring simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters.

Intermediate 1 Course (B1 & B2) Independent Speaker:
This intermediate French class reviews basics of conjugations and some verbs in the present. In the beginning, class emphasis is focused on improving your basic speaking abilities and developing fluency. You will be learning more and more uneven verbs and use them correctly in lower intermediate conversations, you will express control.

The course covers the following areas of study:

B1:
Learners can understand the key points of clear standard input on common matters frequently encountered in work, school, leisure, etc. Can deal with most situations likely to arise while travelling in a region where the language is spoken.

B2:
Learners can understand the key ideas of difficult text on both tangible and abstract topics, including practical discussions in his/her field of specialization. Can interact with level of fluency and impulsiveness that makes regular interaction. Can make clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects and explain a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options.

 Intermediate 2 Course (C1 & C2) Proficient Speaker:

In this course you will consolidate your French language skills. You will be trained how to speak French with more difficult sentence structures using not only the present perfect but also the simple past.

C1:
Learners can understand a wide range of challenging, longer texts, and recognize implicit meaning. One can express his/her easily and spontaneously without searching for expressions. Learners use language flexibly and efficiently for social, academic and professional purposes.  One can produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, showing controlled use of organizational patterns, connectors and cohesive devices.

C2:
Learners can understand very easily when they hear or read. Learners can collect information from different spoken and written sources, reconstructing arguments and accounts in a consistent presentation.

About  French Langusges Training
The Department of French Languages consists of eleven well qualified faculty members. Some of them have been associated with either Germany, Japan in their own fields of professional experience. This helps the faculty members to teach students not only the French language, but also initiate them in the culture of these countries.

  • Detailed notes are taken to identify precise training needs.
  • Current language level is assessed and analysed according to the Linguarama competence levels chart.
  • The targets for the course are agreed – both the language levels and the skills to be acquired.
  • A course is designed to meet the training objectives set.
  • A team of trained teachers, all native speakers of the language, implement the training programme.
  • A constant review of the relevance and effectiveness of the programme is carried out.

Foreign Language Training Duration

  • Normal Track 45 Working days for French Training course, daily one and half hour.
  • Weekend Batches(saturday,sunday) 2to3 hours for day total 16 working days.
